The map.droneguide.be website shows the UAS geographical zones published in accordance with Article 15 of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 of 24 May 2019 on the rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft, Article 5 of the Royal Decree of 8 November 2020 implementing the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 of 24 May 2019, and the Ministerial Decree of 21 December 2020 establishing fixed UAS geographical zones and the conditions for access to fixed UAS geographical zones.
skeyes and the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) pay due attention to the data made available, but cannot fully guarantee that the information concerning the temporary UAS geographical zones (other than the fixed UAS geographical zones as published in the Ministerial Decree of 21 December 2020) is always up-to-date, and that its visualisation is complete and accurate.
Therefore, the use of the map.droneguide.be website does not exempt in any way the UAS operator from their obligation to consult and respect the information relating to the relevant temporary UAS geographical zones disseminated by NOTAM (accessible through the link https://ops.skeyes.be\\) or by any other appropriate means defined by the Director General of the BCAA and made known to the public. The use of the map.droneguide.be website does not exempt in any way the UAS operator from their obligation to consult and respect all the regulations in force, including the regional regulations (e.g. the access to nature reserves), and the conditions for access to UAS geographical zones.
The map available on the map.droneguide.be website shows the UAS geographical zones where access to unmanned aircraft (UAS) is prohibited or subject to the application of special rules under federal regulations. By default, the map does not show UAS geographical zones with a lower limit above 120m AGL. This setting can be adapted by the user to take into account the profile of the intended flight.
